Taking that title literally, I don't think one will make much money trying to find security flaws that way.

Just remember that we've got enough rules in the English language, and we don't need anyone making up new ones.

Or has Win 10 just changed, and made the desktop icon overlays huge?
I normally use PSPad to open TXT files, and the association has just disappeared - so I put it back and "Boing!" there is a massive pen nib over the file icon.
To my mind, the "shortcut" overlay looks bigger too - it's almost 1/4 of the icon?
When did that happen?
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...

I think it was back in 2007, toward the end of the year. So, it has been around for a long time.

The way MS has become, UI and functional updates will have been designed by people who don't have a clue (or any care for) what their customers need, but have a rabid desire to make names for themselves within the company.
Just block everything, and use one of the fifty or so channels that provide security updates only.

I haven't logged into my win10 today. But it did stop taking my thumbprint and forced me to use a secure 4 number pin. Wth I can't rule out me enabling this feature by mistake though but I doubt I did unless I was in click, click, click mode.

All looks the same to me and I usually hide my desktop icons so if there had been any change since the last time I saw them I think I'd notice.

I never believed in superstitions, or in anything mythological. But, tomorrow (13th and Friday as per Pakistani time) is my exam for Object-oriented programming with Java.
It's beginning to look like a horrific day.

Triskaidekaphobia[^], or more correctly, paraskevidekatriaphobia[^]
Actually, it's only in effect in countries that are predominantly christian - you should be pretty much safe from any odd troubles.

We, countries that are not predominantly christian, face everyday as a Friday as the Freakin' 13th bro.

Oh, THAT's what that means... I heard that word in a movie somewhere... Wait, I know this... Ahh... Natalie Portman and Dustin Hoffman.
Well, I guess I'm a triskaidekaphiliac, because I like Friday the 13th... I figure if it's bad luck for everyone else, then there must be a lot of good luck that isn't being used... I figure I can swipe some of it.
(No, I don't actually believe any of that superstitious crap, but it's fun to think about)

My grandad was rescued from a life boat on Friday the 13th, Twice! he all regarded Friday 13th as his lucky day!

Surely if it was his lucky day he wouldn't have needed rescuing in the first place?
