I did a clean install on several computers with the 10586 ISO file burnt to a DVD and have not had noteworthy issues. However, none of these machines were on a domain. All were home computers. Of course, doing a clean install means all old settings are gone.

You're traveling through another dimension,
a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind;
a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination.
Next stop . . . the Twilight Windows 10 Zone!

It used to be that when someone posted about this kind of problem, some smart@rse would chime up with "You should UPgrade to linux!"
Not any more.
Now what you get is this smart@rse chiming up with "You should UPgrade to Windows 7!"*

Hey, there was nothing wrong with XP that a few sensible updates wouldn't have fixed.
So what did MS do?
Vista!

I like Mark Twain's comment on politicians: "Politicians are America's only native criminal class."
«There is a spectrum, from "clearly desirable behaviour," to "possibly dodgy behavior that still makes some sense," to "clearly undesirable behavior." We try to make the latter into warnings or, better, errors. But stuff that is in the middle category you don’t want to restrict unless there is a clear way to work around it.» Eric Lippert, May 14, 2008

I have no idea when your bedtime is: the camera feed in your house is down and the repair guy is busy.
Couple hours, I guess will be fair to them all.

No, I've got three in my "WSO CCC" file ready to go when I need them - I just don't want to monopolise the game! Or force someone to do it again the next day - except Pompey boy with the FSOW of course - that wouldn't be fair either.
Pompey boy is fair game for torture, given his solution is always the same anyway!
