As far as I know it has been changed some months ago. There were some suspicious (probably sock puppet account) votes on a few articles. See also this post: Bugs and Suggestions - CodeProject[^]

Which survey? Voting requirements are survey specific. The weekly poll is totally open (mostly). Invite-only surveys can be tied down quite tightly.

The article voting...
I think Sean is correct...
I am merely a humble low bronze level author, not worthy of the article voting responsibility...
So I guess I am reduced to using this opportunity to shamelessly plug the one article I did write

Yogurt-gitating jokes again because, ah, such is the culture to butter the masses with hilarity. Sorry, I prefer grass-fed humor; u know, the raw stuff, cudd it's the best kind to chew on.

I do not solve them...mostly...especially those labeled 'easy-peasy'...

Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

Exactly! There's no online aid up to assisting with those!

Generally yes, I do them without.
Sometimes I have to check a word, and then I'll use Google.

More often, yes, but sometimes I do use online tools for solving anagrams.

On the rare occasions that I solve them I do it unaided. After all what is the point of getting Google to solve it for you? It's akin to posting "plzz send codz urgent".

I just call the NSA and ask them to hack the poster's machine and send me the answer. If it's not on the PC then they do the thought reading bit for me.

I do everything like that without googling.
I'll only google a puzzle after I've admitted defeat, and then only if I'm really curious about it (which happens almost never).

I would like to thank the author's for their work.
It was really difficult to place my votes. While it was quite easy in the past to select my favorites, it took a lot of time today to select my personal maximum of three articles. Even some articles at the end of my personal list seem to be better than winning articles of the past.
