Yes I do. For an overview a book beats anything online . Online is good for a very specific question. How should I put it? A book is more panoramic. An old saying goes,"Miss the forest for the trees.". You can scan differnet pages very quickly.
It is really a question of which is most appropriate in a given situation.
A may add that that is a problem of our age. Missing the bigger picture with an obsessiveness that excludes all else. Like the current polarised views of politics, etc.

I was at home texting with the girl I was dating. Since I lived far from the city and always had overbearing parents I couldn't see her until basically the beginning of the school year.
That was a good thing as we exchanged thoughts without too many hormones interfering... we are together since almost 10 years now

Probably at home studying math, since I failed to make it during the year and had to have an exam in the summer in order to pass the year. Coincidentally it was also the year I really went into music and neglected my school work, hence failing math. Once I focused on it I passed it in my first try. Just had to learn to set my priorities straight. Next year was worse, but for other reasons.
At the time I was unaware of Code Project's existence, but I learned about it the next year. Joined a year or two later.
