You should move this to the Soapbox. This section is not for political posts.

See first post above.
I'd rather be phishing!

I don't get it. First post above what?

Aha! Now I get it. Thanks.

Just for today it's OK.

The system owner declared it so; if you don't like his rules, you are free to leave.

Is this the five-minute argument, or the full half hour?

Why, because some people can't find the Soapbox?

Why wasn't this ok yesterday? Should be moved to the Soapbox.

I take it you don't make the rules in your own house?
|
|
|
|

This is a collaboration website is it not?
With that said, I understand the rules... but they're also just changing them for one day on a whim, why not be consistent?
|
|
|

That's the understanding I share with you.
I guess because one sets the rules in one's own abode. I dont recall a pledge of consistency being a part of the contract I entered into a decade ago. I understand what you're getting at, really I think I do.
I also can't help but think that the saying about the tail not wagging the dog to be somehow pertinent.
Anyhow, hope I haven't and sorry if I've offended you or behaved poorly

I must have misread it. I thought we could after the biggest election surprise in our history!
Have a moderator move it. I did not intend, the message said it was okay for today!

No, you are fine... today only!

Hey, you sound much more human now than your earlier message implied.

LOL. Human is the ONLY thing I get right
Thank You!

Unfortunately, that's exactly the kind of speech that ISIS leaders make to their people.
USA : ISIS -- peas in a pod.
Live and let live, for f***'s sake. If your way is the only way, it's the wrong way.
Oh, and don't take it personally when people bitch about things. That's what people do.

Did you reply to my message. Which part?
To you, this is ISIS speak:
<<
Encourage people to start a business. A hair cutting place, a handy man service. Maybe lowes moves in, and starts training inner city people to lay tile, and do repairs. Maybe thousands of unemployed people in a city get together, and start honing their skills fixing the homes in their neighborhood for next to nothing. (By the way, I programmed for FREE to get experience, then got paid A LOT once I had the experience). It beats being angry.
>
But when the LEFT in this country says that speaking against global warming should be a felony. That is NOT like ISIS?
I see the two as opposites.
I am saying don't be angry, be productive.
That is ISIS?
Or are you saying it is Rhetoric, and a "PUBLIC" position while my "PRIVATE" position is different?
I don't care if people complain. I sure do. The squeeky wheel and all.
I just REALLY hate ISIS and stamping on peoples freedoms, so I take a little offense to the unquoted statement that I could be making speeches for the likes of ISIS. Either intential or out of ignorance.
Not sure what I said that implied my way was the only way. Was suggesting we come together.
