Plan involving great confusion in Animal House. (8)
(Mega-easy because I'm not around next week!)
Oops! I originally stated 7 letters for the simple reason that I cannot count. There are 8. My apologies.

Don't think that's as easy as you thought...
Should I be thinking Animal House the film, or something along the lines of zoo, or kennel?
One morning I shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas, I don't know.

Much more along the lines of kennel but Duncan's beaten you to it.

Gender bias persists for many women in the tech industry: According to a new survey from ISACA, 27% of women in tech say they often or always experience gender bias on the job. And 43% report that male colleagues are paid more without reason.
Interesting article on techrepublic on Bias against women in tech. Anyone come across this issue before and how you/your company handle the reported situation?

The "gender bias in tech" does not exist in the USA. What really exists: ignorant writers required to write a "bias against women" article on International Women's Day, pushing for pointless certifications by garbage political organizations.
Articles like this say more about the writer than the industry.

27% feel, 43% say, therefore it's fact. Dude the article is definition is alt-facts and fake news.

Well, I haven't read the article....
But as to whether women are underrepresented in tech and less paid, well, there is little doubt about it...

Super Lloyd wrote: tech and less paid, There may be some truth to that, but I doubt nearly as much as the media claims there is. For example, where I work, there is a female coworker. We have the same exact job title and do the same job. But I am a lot better and therefore get paid more. But if they surveyed our company, they'd see that a female makes less than a male for the same job. Stupid surveys mean nothing.

Really?
Look what happened to the female techs who dared to show up in the Lounge.
Bias isn't only about money, it's also about how women are treated by the people around them -- which is particularly noticeable in a field which is all-but dominated by guys who aren't good at interacting with women.

Over the years there have been a number of intelligent, well-liked female CP members in the Lounge. They all got tired of the puerile adolescent nonsense that breaks out every so often here.

That sounds like a gender bias against men, who tend to have puerile adolescent moments as a condition of their hormonal balance.
I would also like to point out, though, that women have the same capacity for adolescent outbursts as men.

Knowing the difference is something men learn as they become an adult. Those who don't are merely boys in a physically mature body.
