Now you are trolling! First you come with VB and now with BS!
But we just had a steak for lunch, like every friday. My hunting instincts now rest and I could use an hour of sleep (before going to bed).

This is Javascript. If you put big wheels and a racing stripe on a golf cart, it's still a f***ing golf cart.

What the whole franchise? We can but dream ... hipsters would fall by the wayside, muttering hundred syllable incomprehensibles ending with "macchiato" before they perished.

It's also not true.
Some of those awesome technologies do make it out of the meeting rooms, but get implemented by a bunch of bunglers who don't understand it and ultimately conclude "this is not for us" while you get to maintain the crap they wrote

Oddly, that can be considered dehumanizing.
You have disappointed your lounge fans.
You have disappointed the incidental rabble.
But worst of all, if I were merely human, you'd have disappointed me.

I remember my careers advice interview on leaving school in the early '80s.
After being poo-pooed on my initial suggestions (demon fast-bowler, astronaut, gigolo etc.), I put forward the idea of working with computers only to be told to stop being ridiculous as they'd never catch on.
I should have listened ...
