No, it's because surprise is not elementary; it's derived from experience.
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

Ozonium: People who lied about the hole in the ozone layer.
Facebookconium: People who spread fake news on social media.

Yellow Claw & Cesqeaux - Legends (Feat. Kalibwoy)[^]
Been listening to this for two weeks now, really awesome track.
I must confess I don't like the first minute and a half all that much (what is that guy saying anyway?), but after that Yellow Claw does his magic and it gets me jumping every time.
WE WILL BE LEGEEEEENDS!!!

Glad you enjoyed it. You might like more of my general playlist. For instance, this is metaphorically criminally underviewed for the creativity that went into it.

One last time killer for you. Haven't added to it lately as I finish up a project. The best is the video at the very end, on page 4!

Remember when I asked what the navigation controls for (game) starship captains could look like?
First, this old Star Trek game[^] came to mind. It's very simple, but at least it does its job.
Now I found this.[^] It looks like a similar approach and you don't have to be a graduate of Starfleet Academy to understand it.

BTW, when extracting the zip, make sure you Unblock (right-click, properties) the zip file otherwise Windows will attempt to sandbox the dll's when you run the demo.exe.

Please take the time you needed to get this one.[^]. I needed about 4.5 seconds.
But if it's true where that saying comes from, then 16 hours over three four(!) evenings really are a test of the audience's endurance.
