Years ago there was a C/C++_ tool / IDE which provided text template layout for an object.
That included "object task / purpose" - but it was called something else.
Is there such tool today?

In VS Code you can use /// (/ 3 times) in C++ to create a documentation comment, which is templatized based on context.
It might not be exactly what you need, but it works pretty well for what it is.
