It must be good. Even the pages have goosebumps.

If - like me - you have pinned tabs in Chrome, the new rounded edges look like those cats with silly ears.[^]
Seems to be faster though.

The Google guys seem to have a very different idea of an attractive design to the one I have. What they used to have was really pleasant to view, but they are moving further and further away from that. I suspect "consultants" at work in the background.

Try navigating to chrome://flags/#top-chrome-md and changing the setting to "Normal". Restart Chrome, and you should get the older UI.
No doubt they'll remove this flag in a couple of versions.

Well, their next order of business is to put a ribbon in a tab, and they figure it will look better rounded!
Oh, wait! is the appropriate response!

Let the thought police have some fun too. It's good when they once in a while have the feeling that they are genuinely helping their customers and see some immediate results. It will motivate them when they have to do their actual work of policing political correctness, finding those who have not yet seen the light and teaching them what to say (and thereby what to think).

I am noticing a lot of issues with Chrome lately. Mostly browser freezing.
Could it be Windows actively crashing Chrome?!

That would suck and not out of the realm of possibility.

Hmmm, just started using Chrome again for CodeProject as Edge did not work properly anymore. Strange thing is that at work Edge still works like it should. I found out that most problems I have at home are gone when I start Edge as administrator ...
