You'll get there - it's a "frame of mind" thing, and it can take a while to get the "feel" of how someone else's twisted mind works ... I have the same problem with new setters, there is a disconnect until you get inside their heads.

Because I like Fava beans and Chianti?

What's wrong with fava beans?

I recently got a Google Home Mini from my employer.
A little new year's gift.
Last year we got some "smart" watch thingy I believe (I didn't even open that one, I don't wear watches, ever).
I've also still got some gifts from my previous employer laying around...
And maybe even from my employer before that.
They've all been gathering dust.
I'm really not into gadgets

OK, mail them to me and I'll do it. For a small fee.

I have to find a suitable box to ship it in, write the address on the box or on a piece of paper (who still has paper?) and tape it to the box, then deliver it to the post office...
It's just all so manual
If only I could add it as an attachment to an email...
But maybe I'll just take a look at what I can sell it for and do so anyway.

My wife gave me a Chrome Cast for my last birthday. Because SHE wanted it. Since we have television via broadband with built in Play functionality, I've never seen the need for one (MAYBE to play Youtube videos, but normally you do that on you cell phone, right?).
And guess how many times we've used it... Apart from my test when I installed it... None! Just like I knew it would be!

The positive side is that then you don't have to buy her one. (You can rather buy here something that you wish you had in the house.)

Count yourself lucky then that it wasn't - Her: up all night watching stuff, You: alone in a large cold bed.
Actually had a friend buy one of those China "watch TV from around the world" android boxes (needs internet). They even were kind enough to set it up for us. About 10 minutes after they left I pulled it out and tossed it in the store room.
Few days later the wife asked where it went, my reply: we never watch TV anyway. (never been asked again.)
- Real reasons for removing it:
1. Don't watch broadcast TV - That is actually True
2. Only channels it has are all weird non western countries
3. Really didn't want a China mystery box attached to our home internet (nor anywhere where I have any of my own machines)

Actually kinda like mine. It can run multiple cooking timers simultaneously and play music, stuff like that.
You just have to name the timers.
"Ok Google, start a timer named Ham for 2 hours."
"Ok Google, start at timer named pizza for 20 minutes."
Just wish I could change the recognition phrase from "Ok Google" to "Computer"

Cooking timers are nice.

Just stumbled across this[^].
I guess it aggregates examples in open source repos for PHP, C#, Java, Go, C++, and Python, based on "top rated", which I guess means starts.
For example, I decided to search for something somewhat arcane, AssemblyResolve and got 4 examples[^]
References the project and filename where the code comes from.
CodeProject should do something like this! (I'll post it on the suggestion board.)
