Try doing that to your banking site - mine said I was entering a hacker domain and was in danger of losing my identity.

When I entered my banking site, it said that "it was still being evaluated."

Who else did that for stackoverflow.com immediately after Code Project?

Yes. They are located on Cheney reservoir, south of Wichita, Kansas. Are all US datacenters now located underwater?

They are not located in a lake. They used to show in the centroid of an area which happened to be a hapless person who did not even have an internet connection.
Nonetheless, angry people would show up at his/her house threatening them since the website that stole their credit card was shown to reside at his/her house.
The location service was forced to pin unknown locations to bodies to save the innocent people from harassment.

So who else thought it best to test it with:

From my account I got a "not found" message.

Have anyone noticed that microsoft.com's server software listed as Kestrel?

Love the lake-cooled server, nice to see not only the logo is green.

I like the way you worded this... "add .ipaddres.com" implies somehow that this is 'built into domain names magically', or some other mystical way of working.
rather than, visit ipaddress.com, and search for your domain. Or go to the subdomain <youraddress>.ipaddress.com .
Genius.

Yes I agree, but isn't it interesting how the perception of things changes when you don't fully understand how it works... I wonder how many things I don't know how they work and do similar.

I like that the web site came up with the standard cookie disclaimer...

Not exactly accurate. It has my company's IP address and server location completely wrong, and the second highest access coming from Sri Lanka, which is not remotely close.

Do you know how sub-domains work? I believe this is brilliant, not at all creepy.

Well my trusty Surface Pro 3 developed a screen malady, so I went to the Microsoft store and left with a new Surface Pro 6. It's about the same size as the 3m, but mine has more zCPU and memory. The screen resultion defaults to 2736 x 1824, Wow!

See, the people at Microsoft are not evil after all, they do a lot of charity

I neversaid they were evil, but note that I had to pay regular price for the Surface Pro 6 since my Pro 3 had an unresponsive touch screen theyt gave me no credit for it. So I ended up with the old Pro 3 which works fine with the moiuse and the Pro 6 that is a fantastic toiy I'm using for some serious development weork.

I can't say from experience yet, but it's supposed to be amazing. One customer told me they routinely get 16 hours out of a full charge, but I haven'rt run mine down yet.
