Chew have taken quite a bit of license with this one. Did someone pooch you up to this? Responding to these has given me paws - and I may just go on the wag-gone.

I think you might be barking up the wrong tree here. My dogs will take all the SPAM you give them. So I doubt they are screening their calls.

Actually my dogs do have collar ID. They have the following identification:- They're micro-chipped[^].
- Current dog license.
- Tag from the adoption group.
- As retired greyhounds, they have tattoos in their ears that uniquely identify them.
- Id tag with my name and phone numbers.

Mine are getting that way - they're 7 years old, and comfortably middle-aged. The zoomies are getting a little slower, 25 mph instead of 30-35.

Microchipping dogs is a legal requirement in the UK (with £500 fines) once they reach 8 weeks old.
It's not compulsory for cats, but our last three have been, and they have never gotten lost as a result (just to be bloody minded about the whole affair, I suspect).

I posted last night that my port to TypeScript worked first time, first compile. It was a fairly major reworking and I was literally lying awake at 3 in the morning wondering what I'd screwed up that caused it to work
(brief pause while I reflect on the absurdity of that sentence and our developer lives in general)
It turns out I'd still been referencing the old code, not the new code, in one crucial component. Fixed this and the whole house of cards came crashing down in a fiery J.J. Abrams Michael Bay style ball of flame.
I'm so relieved.
cheers
