It's not my machine, so I won't be buying/installing software on it.

I have context menus - do you have Tablet Mode enabled on the lappie? If so, that disables them and can be changed with WIN+A and click / tap on "Tablet Mode".
I don't get on with it myself (I prefer it off even on the Surface) but some do: Use your PC like a tablet[^]

Which context menus are you missing ? I have everything I need on my two WIn10 boxes.

All of them. This is especially disturbing in Explorer.

Does it also not work when you use the keyboard to open the context menu? If it would work with the keyboard then there is an issue with your mouse
It does not solve my Problem, but it answers my question

It honestly never occurred to me to use a different mouse. I didn't even think to try the touch pad (I abhor the use of touch pads, and have disabled them in all of my laptops).

Had a mouse hooked up to a laptop yesterday that caused one of those "USB device not recognized" popups, which is rather unusual for a simple device like a mouse. Tried another port - worked perfectly. Switched it back - problem came back. Switched it again (to the port that worked) - now the problem had propagated to it as well. And it stayed that way until I took the time to reboot the laptop.
Even in this day and age, sometimes you still can't dismiss the simplest fixes...

Probably you need to uninstall one of the latest updates. There was one recently that broke context menus on the taskbar and also searching on the windows menu.

Apples to oranges from my point of view. Little Feat is not David Gilmore (or Pink Floyd), but David Gilmore is not Little Feat.
But if you want to make that comparison within the genre of prog rock, I might consider that David Gilmore has nothing on King Crimson. King Crimson - 21st Century Schizoid Man - YouTube[^] ( I especially enjoy the section that begins at 8:00)
Even with that opinion, my enjoyment of Gilmore will be in no way diminished.

I've been a fan since 1984.
I was lucky enough to see them at the Silverdome in 1994, "the first show". After the original show sold out in minutes they added a 2nd show the day before the original first show. The one I was at was the first time they played The Dark Side of the Moon live, in its entirety, in 25 years. That was a treat.
Sadly, the acoustics in the dome left much to be desired. It also didn't help that I was in the upper bowl off the left end of the stage, about 50 feet in front of a massive speaker stack. My ears are still ringing to this day.
The FloydPodCast has a recording of that very show here[^]. Skip to 12:40 for the start of it.

Never heard of them, but apparently they've been around for a long time and have influenced lots of other bands.
Jimmy Page called them his favorite band in 1975.
Sounds good, but not my cup of tea.
I have a friend who'd love this though.
