She’s knows about her, the other one doesn’t.
Have told her I’m in isolation with sally and as I haven’t seen her since yesterday she should be alright (assuming she picked it up in Benidorm and it’s not come from me)

First day at home for me. No symptoms, just work taking measures and making people work from home.
It sucks.
I like my office desk with my 3 monitors and plenty of space. Small desk at home and I HAVE to use a designated work laptop.

Luckily I can just rdp to my work desktop, so it's just like being at work, except for the monitors which I may have to do something about.

No employer of mine has ever been able to provide me with a better desk, computer, number of monitors or space than I have here at home, so.......

By the way, I think you should give it back. I've heard it can be a pain.

Fortunately not me directly, but we've had customers ignoring the guidelines and posted signs on every door, stairwell, elevator, and throughout the hallways. Last week a different building had a customer show up for a meeting who was waiting on test results. So instead of informing anyone before hand and either postponing or conducting the meeting over the phone, they potentially exposed half a dozen people!

Isolation?
Maybe? But I don't understand the 'short-angle' bit.
P.S. If I'm right, I would like to exempt myself from setting the next one. I'm only good at fixing problems - not setting them!

Winner!
short angle = short LATITUDE = LAT
I didn't know what word best to use, "angle" seemed to be the easiest of the bunch.

Hi All,
I am sitting in a Ghost Ship today we were told to work from home today, at half past nine pm. Via 'Teams', fine but I was told off for using a non-secure machine to access the company network. I was on the list for a laptop but it hasn't arrived yet... So I couldn't see the message, so I came to work!

This whole thing is a bit of a comedy of errors and a bit of a wake up.
We figured that we, of all organisations, could work from home and not even notice the change (except for Brigitta's pizza runs). But suddenly we find VPN access isn't working for one person. Another is having Zoom issues. Laptops are now as scarce as toilet paper (and nowhere near as soft and pliant). State bodies looking to get an edge are going to have a field day sniffing around all these exposed and poorly setup connections.
One interesting thing is seeing the natural work day drift by a few hours, and in both directions. Some are working earlier than usual, some switching to a late (late!) morning start and going through till the wee hours. Way more civilised.
cheers
Chris Maunder

... Cyanide & Happiness[^] Rarely KSS, but today it's work safe (except one word in the first panel that I missed) - and a pun I wish I'd thought of!
[edit]Ooops! I missed the "F word" in the first panel - may not be safe for work[/edit]

I find NSFW overstated. Evidently some haven't worked in the kind of environment I sometimes did, let alone been on the playground when I was in 7th or 8th grade.

Who knew violin and dubstep could go together so well? (That's what it is, right? I'm terrible at naming genres)
I've been a fan of hers for quite a bit of time. And I don't even particularly like dubstep.
