I know of some tailor tape that would like to have a word with you.

The suspenders, so your pants are single fault tolerant.
I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated.
I’m begging you for the benefit of everyone, don’t be STUPID.

Reminds me of a incident from about half a century ago.
Right-ponders use the term "belt and braces" to describe conservative action - built-in backup. (Left-ponders may say "belt and suspenders", I don't know.)
I was discussing an electronics engineer's work with his boss, commented on what I thought was over-design.
The reply was "Mike doesn't just wear belt and braces, he stuffs helium balloons in his pants pockets!"
Still remember it all these years later.
Software rusts. Simon Stephenson, ca 1994. So does this signature. me, 2012

That's for conserving gravity.

Test:
If you wear the pants without the belt, do they fall down?
If you wear the belt without the pants, does it fall down?
Aside -- I mostly wear a belt to keep the holster for my phone from falling.

Hi Is anyone here planning to travel to see the total solar eclipse on April 8th?
It will only be visible in the western hemisphere.
My astronomy club is having a special event for the public on Sandy Hook NJ.
Have you made any plans to observe it?
The difficult we do right away...
...the impossible takes slightly longer.

Nope. My wife and I watched the last one in Broken Bow, Nebraska.

Hopefully it will sunny in Montréal.
We'll get a minute or so of blackness.

Being right there in Montreal, after the teachers strike, and all the talk about making up for lost time, how do you feel about not only having gone ahead with March break, but closing schools on April 8th?

Eclipse : Stupid decision to close schools or trying to keep kids inside.
Strike : Keep the march break week; lot of families already has plans for the breaks.

Yeah, why not, after all, having been "home-schooled" over Zoom for the duration of Covid, those kids are already not going to be employable anyway. Let's just write off that whole generation and move on.

Yes, I’ll sit comfortably at home and enjoy the view 😎. Lucky me!

It will be total here, so no need to travel unless it's overcast.

Not we. My little sister and a few others will be at Lake Champlain.
My wife and I were thinking of going to the San Antonio area, but the timing hasn't worked out.

Hi All,
I know AI is all the rage at the moment, I have been wanting to try something since Co-pilot was installed in an update. A battle between ChapGPT, Co-pilot and any other AI. Get one to pose a question, the other answer it, feed the answer into the other and so on until well who knows? Would like to see that happen, also the famous 'Well What Do You Think?'... Or am I just being Evil !

You'd just end up burning a ton of electricity to generate randomised well-formed, most likely responses to each previous sentence. It would be the 15 trillion parameter equivalent of watching pong.
