Dang you're pretty bright.
I'm not sure how many cookies it makes to be happy, but so far it's not 27.

Dame Silú de Mordomoire - The Crowning of the Fae Folk Queene[^]
Last week I was looking for some dungeon synth, which I like to listen before going to sleep.
I decided on this one because of the artist's name and the artwork, which promises some fairy tale inspired synth.
However, what I got wasn't dungeon synth, but more of a darkwave vibe, with actual instruments and beautiful chants.
From the album page: "Genre: Neo-Classique / Epic Fantasy / Dungeon Synth / Darkwave / Heavenly Voices..."
This Dame from France summarizes her style nicely: "Dame Silú de Mordomoire sings the dark and bright passions of the soul... A deep voice towering towards the sky, highly spiritual and melancholic... Singer and synth artist, Silú tries to uncover sights from the other side...."
I say she's spot on!
Already ordered the limited 6-panel-digipack CD

Pretty. Reminds me slightly of Ceredwen, which is probably not dark enough for your tastes! New music for the week: Klaus Schulze - The Cello. The FFXIV OST Terncliff Theme reminded me a bit of your tastes. Portal - The Sound Of Science surprised me. I believe you said you didn't like Disturbed's 'Sound of Silence,' so you might not like that one, but look at some of the other Portal songs YouTube recommends. Amazing videos! Surprised they didn't appear before in my lists.

Although I admit I haven't played FFXIV and don't know the soundtrack.
But VI to X, XII and XV dominate my charts

Hell, I've been so focused on other things I didn't even know it was a game! I just thought they were cool vids put together by someone with far too much time on their hands!

Actually, it's not in my playlist because I prefer the real deal (or any of the official orchestrations)

And another beautiful one I haven't heard in a long time just popped up: Nils Frahm - Says.

I like. 1:50-2:10 gave me an Ultima Underworld 2 vibe.

Basically, Trumps characterization of NZ's 11 new cases in 2 days as a "massive outbreak". His typical bloviating bag of non-specifics and fear marketing in an effort to make himself look better than everyone else.

He's a politician, so he bloviates, like 99% of them. We'd be better off without the whole lot of them.

No, he's not a politician. He's a failure of a businessman trying to pass himself off as a non-politician, "tell it like it is savior" of the extreme right.
