As one of the comments says, need to check how it works, how stable it is, on small or large obstacles, bumps, potholes.

Reminds me of something I saw a few years back. 6 or 8 wheels, spidery, articulated. Wheels were the same "diagonal roller" setup.
Drove over some pretty impossible looking terrain.
Wouldn't have been a comfortable ride, though!

I would be very wary if I spot someone on one of these on the roads, though/ I can't help thinking this makes it easier for juveniles to act out on the road... We already have enough of those making lives difficult for other road users.

That seems to have a high coefficient of friction. About 18 minutes in he is riding it on a parking lot and I can see marks from each movement. Which means it is really digging in and thus probably using a lot of energy.
So even just for fun it probably isn't going to be fun for that long.
