Every time I read about Melinda, she invariably gets credited for getting Bill to mellow out and start caring for his fellow man. I've heard Bill himself say he's a "nicer guy than he used to be" because of her.
I genuinely wonder if he'll revert back to his shrewd old ways.
(and I wonder who gets to keep the house)

How so? They've been killing it financially in a way not seen since before the Ballmer days.

Be a rocket hobbyist.
No permits required that I'm aware of. There's an international treaty saying space belongs to all of us. Aimed at nations yes, but didn't exclude private entities. Hence, SpaceX.. and me.
But youself counting down, saying liftoff.. before the explosion, that's neat.

I beg to differ.
In order to get to space, you have to pass through the atmosphere. Unless you launch from a platform on the high seas, it will be over some nation's territory, or territorial waters, i.e. in its airspace. It has the right to forbid passage of your spacecraft through their airspace.
Even international airspace has certain conventions regarding use, and you'd better comply with them, too.

So far as i can tell, you're about the most humorless poster in the lounge.
Don't you ever extend concepts past norms just for the fun of it? Is your coding as unimaginative?
The only other option I could find as defensible, on your part, is perhaps you have the long term effects of alpha+ induced psychological damage. Perhaps the stitches holding your backside closed are chafing?
Or maybe just overall unhappy with living?

When I was explained what that means, my reaction was "no way".
After first turbulence, hell no. Ask seat C next to you and leave me alone.

I got some brined yolks in my fridge.
Miss Chievous was a cartoon person. Can't find any reference, due to "fashion" taking that name.

So I'm working on an ASP.NET Core Razor Pages app and I was working on two specific pages.
Doing some refreshing, checking out the pages, testing my post, etc.
When suddenly the pages just fail to load.
No error or anything, just a page without data (controls show up just fine).
Other pages seemed to work fine.
Even some front-end changes seemed to work, but just no data was showing.
Ok, so I check the elements and it seems Vue.js isn't binding to the elements.
Set a breakpoint on my JavaScript, but nothing wrong there.
Hadn't changed anything in the front-end since the last load to begin with, especially no JavaScript.
Reload, clear cache, even restarted Visual Studio.
After about 45 minutes of searching I restarted my computer and... Everything worked
What the !?
How is it even possible that two specific pages in my development environment are not working as they should!?
It wasn't a caching issue, it wasn't a Visual Studio issue, maybe a browser issue?
This wasn't paid by the hour either
