Google is just about as good.
When my primary laptop auto logs in to gmail from a new IP address, I get an email TO THAT DEVICE telling me a strange device has just logged in to my account.

yes, but at least you can keep working... Now I am completely disconnected from my customers, and of course, I keep paying for that service.

They have settings for that type of stuff so it may be that you enabled it without knowing it or maybe it's on by default.

Maybe, sure it is on by default then, but 2 complete days without news from them?

I'm still avoiding 2FA everywhere I can, no matter how hard "they" try to convince me.
I'd rather live with the perceived increased risk than getting erroneously locked out due to some policies dreamt up by some overzealous admin who never fully thought through all scenarios.

It is sad a big company like that can't really handle this gracefully.

First time buying something on AliExpress... It came almost on time (maybe 10 days later than expected)...
The day after I got it from the post office the status of the parcel updated:
Sorry, parcel is delayed, estimated date of delivery is updated.

You can't just hold off buying until you can buy a bunch of things at once?
I've found some hard to find gear there, and I could pretty easily rack up $50 USD in items per time if I put a little effort into it.
Personally I can't give them up because them and even *gasp* bangood (as a last resort) are the only place I can order certain items

I have seen, but not tried, that AliExpress has the delivery option from within Europe. I assumed that was to circumvent import taxes?

Yes, some shops have "depots" in the EU so maybe there is still hope

Impressive camera for the price! I have a need for several of them to monitor my 20 ac lot in the desert. Last week I had a break-in, costing thousand$ in stolen goods, and damaging my 40' container and 27' travel trailer. I can't be there most of the time, but I could use a cheap way to monitor and capture video of intruders. The cops took a report, but even though I've left multiple messages for an additional report (I found more missing), the cops never return calls, nor does anyone answer the phone. This could be a solution, if I can figure out how to use them. I've had very little luck interpreting Chinese documentation or getting live tech support for things made there.

Documentation is a weak point of these Chinese camera's, it also seems the mentioned software for PC's only works on older Windows versions. The mobile apps are fine.
I could get live video from all my camera's using the free iSpy software, see: free-video-surveillance-software[^]

I also spent some time looking for anagrams of "price" with a "Y" in them before realizing it was the 1st today ...

Well, the end of last month, anyway.
Way to give it away though - I get it now, and see what Rich means.
If it isn't solved I'll try to post it later.
