By replacing your morning coffee with green tea you can lose up to 87% of what little joy you still have left in your life?

Replace with black tea and lose only 86%.

I drink black tea in the afternoons. So, I lose 0% there, since I enjoy it.
1 cup of coffee has approx. 97 mg of caffeine.
1 cup of black tea has approx. 47mg of caffeine.
1 cup of green tea has approx. 28mg of caffeine.

look it up on Google if it means that much to you (I'm sure it doesn't). That is where I got the info.
I assume they mean the standard unit of measurement for a "cup".

Maybe you just need more caffeine.

You hit on an important point.
For some reason, most coffee brewers define a cup as 4.5-6 oz based upon the brewing instructions - not a real 8oz cup. My guess as to this measure is that it includes head-space for milk/cream, etc. That eight-cup pot of coffee you brewed? Yeah, right.
Actually, if you ever look into rice cookers, they also use their own definition of a cup, which is a hair over 3/4 of a standard cup (some ancient Japanese standard measure).
On the other hand, not wishing to be left out, my standard cup of coffee is 16oz.

A "cup" of coffee is no damn good unless it holds at least half a liter!
Get me coffee and no one gets hurt!

Depends on the type of coffee as well: Espresso has about 212mg per 100g shot, assuming Arabica beans rather than Robusta which has more caffeine for eth same weight of beans.
My "morning cup" of coffee is 200g (Doppio) using ~15g Tamarin Arabica beans so each cup contains ~180mg of caffeine. Except when I need a real boost and "wind the machine up to 11" and then it's about 20g of bean for 240mg per cup.
Yes, decaf gives me headaches ...

This is roughly the sort of answer I give when I'm told I need to lose weight.
Not married, no kids, I don't drink, I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, I don't gamble, I don't chase girls.
But I like to eat, and I'm overweight because of it. If you're gonna take that away from me, I don't really see what I have left. If it's what kills me (and it probably is), I'll die happy. I have no dependents, and I have no debt to leave anyone with. In fact if some people knew what they'd inherit, they'd probably wish the process was further along.
Seriously, people, if you're the type who wants to take away whatever brings others a modicum of happiness in their lives, you're downright evil.

And here I thought it was because the dialog, plots, and even the directing stunk. The last movie I went to see I ran out of so I didn't vomit in the theatre. Made it to the trash cans just outside the theatre doors.
