You live in an ex-prison colony. The authorities merely reverted to type.

Only 70 minutes?
The last time I had to make a government account, which wasn't that long ago, I could only get a code by snail mail
I needed that account now, but I had to wait at least two business days

Wow! The government imposes travel paper requirements then makes the documents hard to get...
But I’m sure they only have your best interests at heart🙄!

Yeah I saw that on ABC News. The security models of all the gov't apps are damaged, if not completely broken.
Example:
A browser can ask Android if the device is lockable (PIN, swipe pattern, face etc) and if so, allow access to its saved passwords. (I had to temporarily put a PIN on my wife's browsing tablet to retrieve a password.)
But ServiceNSW insists on a PIN to unlock the app even on a lockable device. Adds no security at all, just creates frustration.
It's actually fewer taps to use a standalone QR reader and then tell it to open in browser...
And don't get me started on their UI design (No, I do not want to put my DL on it to enable one-stop ID theft!)
or their crap QR scanner.
or their battery hogging.
QR code tattoos, anyone?

Me, I'm binge playing Starcraft II again. (It's raining, and I got a good pot of tea)
Thar's only two possibilities: Thar is life out there in the universe which is smarter than we are, or we're the most intelligent life in the universe. Either way, it's a mighty sobering thought. (Porkypine - via Walt Kelly)

I hate wild mushrooms, she insist on drying them to have the bugs crawl out.

I think you'll find it's everyone enjoying the start of summer and the warmer sunny weather in what was the first weekend that felt summery in a long while.

Please get well. I enjoy most of your posts. BTW: Hope you have cute nurses, even if you're in too much pain to appreciate them.

What does surprise me is the age of the doctors. Most of them look barely old enough to be out of high school.[*]
