I just found this. Though I would share it...
A family had twin boys whose only resemblance to each other was their looks.
Opposite in every way, one was an eternal optimist, the other a doom & gloom pessimist.
Just to see what would happen, on Christmas Eve their father loaded the pessimist's room with every imaginable toy and game. The optimist's room he loaded with horse manure.
That next morning on Christmas the father passed by the pessimist's room and found him sitting amid his new gifts crying bitterly.
"Why are you crying?" the father asked.
"Because my friends will be jealous, I'll have to read all these instructions before I can do anything with this stuff, I'll constantly need batteries, and my toys will eventually get broken." answered the pessimist twin.
Passing the optimist twin's room, the father found him dancing for joy in the pile of manure. "What are you so happy about?" he asked.
To which his optimist twin replied, "There's got to be a pony in here somewhere!"

Okay, fine not Farcebook(Farcebook? Last time I heard someone say it like that they were Dutch), but I figured people needed a laugh. Laughing is the only way I keep my severe depression in check... Sorry...

Take care to answer in the right thread ok. youe where on the right one
a.) Right top click your profile name
b.) On the left click 'My settings'
c.) On the right again you will see 'Your Display Name'
As a first trial sourund your display name with <b>oofalladeez343<b>
This should show your user name in bold. To bring in other attributes is then your lesson

Well,
My username color was set probably 17 years ago. I don't think that you will be able to make usernames appear like mine. I think there is server-side code that will block it.
I never told anybody this before, but I can't even remove it. Last time I tried to remove my username color I got an error message.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Yeah,
I am using a custom forum tag that was available 17 years ago. I think there are some server-side checks that block the tag now. I guess the database field already contains the tag but cannot be updated.
In the old days the forums were full of color, just a few of us left.
Best Wishes,
-David Delaune
