I'm very curious to see what else will show up as the water level drops. This seems to be an unplanned archeological event.
I wonder if we'll see renewed proposals to divert water from the Great Lakes to the southwestern US.

What? No concrete overshoes? Have they no respect for tradition?

Easy one to start the week.
Overusing it can be dizzying (11)

Is using anagram solvers considered cheating? I knew the clue but did not know the word itself so ended up using a solver.

My take on it is that it's cheating, but I do use an anagram solver in setting clues.

I sometimes use anagram generators ( I did today ) to help me set clues , but I agree it's kinda cheating when solving them.

I do use anagram generator - it is my way to learn new words when I spot the clue but can't figure out the answer... But do not post the answer if I solved it that way...

I'll confess that I've used an anagram solver a few times. If I know how to derive the solution, I don't want to waste time on an anagram. But since the consensus seems to be that this is cheating, I will desist.
Curiously, I've never used an anagram generator while setting one. I didn't even know that such a thing existed. Sure, there are ones that generate a list of all "subwords", but that strikes me as almost useless. I'd want one that generate sets of subwords that use up the original letters.

Why would you need one. Just read Griffs answer that is always posted three hours before I wake up. Much easier that way !!
