There are plenty of Japanese apps. I want to make one that I can play without a translator.

Thanks. I'll be starting slow, working thru the basics. It's going to be command line for a while.
It should be straightforward to have a hosted server an online games on top of the core of the game. I'm also intending on some game AI for bot players (and maybe having some fun with making them challenging).

Yes!

CP used to have a Code Project's Projects Page. With enough interest, maybe Chris can bring it back.

ORACLE TEAM USA won the 34th America’s Cup with a 44-second victory over Emirates Team New Zealand in Race 19.
To summarise - the Mercans did shyte, drafted in a Brit, sunk the Kiwis.
Well played Sir Ben Ainslie, well played!

Let the poor buggers have their glory, they paid for it!
Seems to have been the Kiwis against the rest of the world and they came so close! Pity they didn't win, maybe they could change the rules about crew content if they get the chance.

Of course I clicked it. ...and I was amazed and then heard it on the News on the radio not long after.
I just wanted to use the the word "merkin".
There isn't normally an opportunity to use it.
After seeing your "mercan cup" heading I felt the opportune.
I ain't no elephanting mofo either.
ah well yeah sometimes I must admit I probably am.
Patriotically, in the weirdest sense of the word, it was a good news story for us, however, I was hoping the Kiwis would whip their bottoms.
