I bet people here remember VS2012's 'Waiting for a background operation to complete' dialog. Well, VS2013 has that dialog, but with the message 'Waiting for a required operation to complete' instead.
Looks like someone on the VS team has some sense left!

But is it waiting for its complement of lemon-soaked towelettes?

Of course! It needs it's comfort, refreshment and hygiene like the rest of us.

not until they find a better way to make piracy of there products harder. I mean really who though of the Idea that if you have a msdn license a license key then you get an install disk (or download) of the program without a license key enter page.??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Well that makes sense.
If it really is a background operation, there should be no need to wait.

Progress, I see they've addressed the problem and taken appropriate action! At least for MS.
|

It's not just MS.
I reported a problem with a feature option on an IBM mainframe O/S (VM) and the fix they put in was an updated manual page that said that option was no longer supported for that feature!

Yeah I think corps like IBM, Microsoft, etc.. stop listening at a certain point because it takes so much red tape to get anything done no one bothers?

You should have taken this to th e Site Bugs forum or the Article writing forum.
You should have also provided a link to which article.

no it wasn't the site just my problem. I got it now though.

You don't have any published articles, so I have to assume you mean you are working on the article and have a problem editing it.
Have you tried going into HTML mode? I generally find myself doing the bulk of the editing in HTML (but then, I think the article submission page is extremely annoying and difficult to use...)
If you haven't then either contact Sean here: http://www.codeproject.com/Forums/1641/Article-Writing.aspx[^]
or give us some reference to the article so the Mentors and Protectors can edit it and see what you mean!

|

well basiclly i didn't get down to the using the code telling you how to make a code block in the article and was using the normal html code used in writing an answer.
