I had to look that one up, and I'm still confused, how do you know of the effects? I have heard of man that stare at goats, but this is at a different level all together...

CTRL+SHIFT+B is rebuild solution... Which is compile-on-steroids and the one I normally use... Sorry if I confused you!

I use CTRL-Shift-F7 for that
As an old C++ dev, the first thing I do when installing VS is to make it use C++ development shortcuts
But nevermind, just tried a to make a joke as the *-B stuff for compiling are the old VB shortcurs (IIRC)

That's not a joke round these parts; that's an insult, neighbour...

It's F6 in mine. I thought the shortcuts were standard so I leave them alone. Maybe I should change them to match #Develop/Delphi (F8/F5) so I don't get confused when I do coding at home.

You didn't need it anyway.

Still waiting for proper arrows to be added back to the scroll bar. It was set to that by "accident" by a "bug" according to Google. They were also "looking into it" and "would fix it soon". This was at least 2 months ago now. Absolutely infuriating.

I'd be a bit careful with such statements, this may be very rude in some culture and easily misinterpreted.
That said, I probably love her too.

Ummm....I would be rather thoughtful before posting this.
Are you referring to Amina here? (that is religious and certainly does not belong here. But what the hell.)

I am a long time Axis And Allies[^] player.
I have the game in the screenshots and I play it regularly. I have always wanted to try to re-write it myself. I'm sure I could to the code. It's the graphics that I'm not sure about.
What's the right way to get started? Anyone done anything like this?
If it's not broken, fix it until it is

I have, but the graphics format of that game was known so that part was relatively straightforward. Maybe this game also uses a known format? If not, well, you could try to extract them with a DirectX hook or something like that.
|
|
|
|
|
What do you exactly mean with "known format" ?

OK, this implies you did not create (or recreate) the graphics by yourself.

It does indeed. I'm not an artist, so that's not happening. It would take too much time anyway.
