After this "The Onion" style introduction I would like to ask, is Facebook broken for you too?
At any rate, I just saw this great TED[^] talk, had to share it somewhere! :P

Oh, "outage", I thought you said "outbreak".
You'll never get very far if all you do is follow instructions.

Don't know.
Don't care.

Why by gawd I remember back in the day we used to all go to the general store in the mornings and sit around the wood stove and text each other about the weather, relatives, crops, etc.. Why without social media like FB and Twitter I don't know how we woulda made it.

I believe the NSA was going to do the same thing but were worried that it might be a violation of their privacy?

I have wondered if they think that public hearings in the congress or Senate are a violation of their privacy also?

I think they think they are above it and can't be touched!

Well, in NSA's defence I find it hard to believe that the leading members of congress and Senate didn't know. I think they both knew and liked what they did as a means to protect the country against real (or mostly imaginary) threats.

We are the Nation's first line of defense. We accomplish what others cannot accomplish and go where others cannot go.
Oh man, that is soooo 50's (of the previous century.)

Well, if anything is a first line of defense, humor would be a good candidate.

Yeah. They do. Funding the Contras, Cocaine trafficking, not talking to their bosses in the white house, kidnapping the wrong people and jailing them without trial, that kind of thing?
Oops.
