...decided to make MSDN downloads unresumable? If a 4GB download takes all day I'm fine with that, but does it have to start from the beginning if the connection so much as hiccups? Jeez!
And where's their download manager gone? The help claims it allows resume but it never appears anymore.

What is it you're trying to download? I often find the same things on other sections of the MS site which are much faster, then I can use my MSDN serial key

This thread again?
Tell me which file and I'll try to make a torrent.
Unless you just want to rant, of course.

Thanks but I already left work. Hopefully it will be available when I get back. Fortunately I'm not in a hurry this time.

There are plenty of free download mangers you can get.

Download managers don't work without support for resume. That's the point.
However I just came across a service which claims they don't need the source to have resume functionality, I'm going to try that tomorrow.

Thanks. But i was looking for something more. like user validation and allowing user to post something on website.

Yeah, there's nothing like that available that's public.

I (and others) have often asked Chris for a proper API, but time/resource restrictions meant Chris never really made anything available for that. I've often heard from others than something's in the works but have no idea if that's true and if so when that'll be available.

Not yet. You have to scrape the website and lot of articles are available inside CP using this way.

That won't be the worst of it. He's been touching me inappropriately lately, I'd quit if I wasn't self employed.
