Nick Griffin (or his paternal line ancestor) is not English - he is of immigrant stock from Co Kerry, Ireland.

Then why hasn't he tried to deport himself back? I'd happily chip in for a one-way ticket...

Well he is an arcane old relic. Presumably he still believes Ireland is part of Britain.
Also 'indigenous Britain' is a very fuzzy term. He can twist it to mean whatever is appropriate for the context.

Shirley most of our ancestors aren't English? They'll be a mixture of Romans, Vikings, Normans, etc.

Totally agree - even the documented couplings in any given person's family tree cover a wealth of nations. The "off the record" stuff is even more varied.

The thing is that back in the 70s/early 80s all cars were pretty bad. By the time the Rover 75 came along the rest of the world had moved out of that phase.

True, the northern border does actually go north west, south-eat. It follows the old Dane Geld line by the looks of it.

Yeah?
Oddly it is fairly missing in Devon, this kind of behaviour. I always thought it was a north south thing. Perhaps not.

Movie Quote Of The Day
Nice weather? You think we're having... nice weather? I guess you didn't lose the only one that meant anything in your life. I guess you don't feel burned out by the human misery and despair perpetrated by the criminal vermin that infest every pore of this decaying city, forcing you to guzzle cheap wine and cheaper whiskey to dull the pain that shatters your heart, rips at your soul, and keeps your days forever gray.
Which movie?
