Isn't that terrorism?

Not necessarily.
I've no idea why he did this.
Terrorism is doing something (or threatening to do something) with the aim of making people afraid.
He has made lots of people afraid, but unless it turns out he has done it as part of some larger organisation then I don't see much point in being afraid of him anymore.

We English like to think back to the times when our terrorists were Irish with a sort of wistful nostalgia.
Back when the pubs blew up in Birmingham however people were throwing nooses over anything that would hold them and looking for anyone with an Irish accent to string up.

It was. Such a shocking thing to do. Why oh why would someone, a European, without the insanity caused by Islam, want to do this.

Yup. I'd class it in with the school shootings/suicides.

Why, if you're unhappy with life and want to die, do people feel the need to kill everyone around them at the same time.

We've discussed Team Hoyt[^] numerous times here; the father and son endurance runners.
Well, on the back of a post about them on FB I read a bit more. On there web-site, if you scroll down on the linked page you'll see there best times.
2:40:47 Marathon
That is fast. Then you consider that Dick was in his fifties when he did that and that anything under 3 hours is considered to be an achievement; 3:30 for the gals. But he's pushing a bloody wheelchair. A wheelchair with a fully grown adult, some five years my senior, in it. Dick is on record as saying he would not be able to run without Rick, it is not just the reason he runs but the motivation
I think Team Hoyt are great, it falls into that 'no greater gift' category. If Rick can, you can.

That's one hell of an achievement and it's ever sweeter because they do it together.
Go Team Hoyt.
