I find it interesting that you have recently defended absolute freedom of speech yet this doesn't appear to apply to celebrations. I'm allowed to be racist but not express the belief that the ticking over of the calendar is worthy of celebration? An interesting qualification, to say the least.

No, celebration is definitely allowed. I'm just commenting on the silliness of attaching so much meaning to things such as dates.

Really, the subject says it all. Congratulations everyone.

How many MVPs every year ?
What is the criteria to be MVP ?

40 per year, but before 2008 it was less (20)...
And it's all about what you give...It is true that your reputation points will be greater if you give more, bit for instance OG made over 400K points last year and I made only around 50K, but the hamsters decided pick both of us, so it is probably more than the points itself...
(I for instance know the best place to buy fresh seeds )

There's your problem: I buy the fermented ones, so they give me extra points!

Useful activity. That's the criteria. While I published two articles last year, I haven't been as active on the site so I am no longer an MVP. This is exactly the way it should be.
