Do you listen to them?
If so which ones?
Would you recommend any podcasts?

1) No.
2) See 1.
3) No.

To this day and for some odd reason, the term Podcast reminds me of the movie(s) "Invasion of The Body Snatchers".

Don't forget "Cocoon"

Honestly -- and I've come back to your posting three times, now -- I can't think of a reason why any developer should spend time listening to or watching "Programming Podcasts".
Shirley, getting your hands dirty, experimenting, googling things you're uncertain about, etc, are a far better way of spending your time, aren't they?
I wanna be a eunuchs developer! Pass me a bread knife!

Well, not podcasts per se, but I sometimes watch Channel 9[^] videos or any of the videos coming out of the many C++ conferences out there
For example, CppCon[^]
As much as I listen to talk radio during the day, I cannot stand developers talking about development.
I'd rather be phishing!

I'm pretty much in agreement with what you wrote.
I'm gonna ask though: What disqualifies the Channel 9 videos from being called podcasts?
same thing really its media content covering a certain topic
nothing really disqualify them.
In my mind, podcasts should be audio only and that you should be able to "register" to them for automatic download to a portable device.
I'd rather be phishing!

I wouldn't say that's "better". More insane, yes, yes, that's the ticket!
