you have to admit the square cornered oversized baby building blocks in mono color look really lets the capabilities of any machine down, would you buy a Ford GT if it had the look of a Model T?

I suspect that most CPians are quite capable of using a dictionary.
(QA questioners excepted )
If you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack.

Just saw the word while reading something and thought it was a nice one I thought that each day someone could post an interesting / less often used word.

If manoeuvre is a word you don't use often you've obviously not slept with a fat lass.

The problem with a dictionary is similar to the problem with the MSDN documentation - you need to know the word exists to be able to look it up.

Apologies if this is a repost.
This page demonstrates just how vast space is in general and how far apart are planets in our solar system from each other, and from the sun. We've all seen pictures of the solar system, but this is a more accurate portrayal of it, and it assumes that the moon were just 1 pixel.
Enjoy: A tediously accurate map of the solar system[^].

If you lost them in the space between here and Uranus you probably wouldn't be able to.

If you play KSP you get a feeling for those distances, while you are able to reach the moon with in hours and do a roundtrip within a day (easily), the mars is a lot longer trip where you either have to skip forward with highspeed or just fly thousands of moon missions meanwhile
