If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?

Scratch -- same candy, different wrapper.
I found the UI for Scratch to be nearly unusable (positioning blocks to click into place was such a PITA) and while the concept is interesting, at the end of the day I think it's a horrible way to teach programming.
Since you ask -- teaching programming to kids should be about creative ways to get from point A to point B, rather than using some archaic BASIC-like syntax to glue things together. In other words, teaching programming should not be taught by computers!

That's why I won't teach my kid (if she actually want it) any language, but logical thinking or algorithms in pseudocode.

Another vote for Scratch[^].
I also strongly recommend buying the Makeblock mBot V1.1[^] programmable robot kit for any budding programmer. It uses a Scratch-like programming language and is very rewarding introduction to programming.

An election I want to call soon
I don't give a stuff
If you've had enough
Of voting, for me it's a boon.

What the hell did I just read?
It leaves my brain in dire need.

It worked for me with a local login, but I accidentally switched it to a my MS login, and that killed it completely.

Ah, that's the mistake you made. I avoid the MS login... unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?), that means I can't use the Windows "store". LMAO.

Yeah, I can peruse it, but every time I want to install some app, the store wants me to use my microsoft account.

TheGreatAndPowerfulOzto use my microsoft account. Just like any store would though. You can use a personal email account in your Microsoft account. It does not have to be a microsoft email.
