Why not raise a QA question
"How to solve Problem: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: source"?
|
|
|
|
|
Because then I'd expect me to answer it?

Good point.
But answering your own questions is allowed.
To answer your initial question (what's up with QA):
It looks like CodeProject ran out of source(s).

Don't know if it's related but the forums are rendering very slowly this morning.

Aren't they just?
And there have been loads more than 54K visitors before - I suspect H/W troubles in Toronto.

Good things never last too long... QA is back...
And gone again...
Skipper: We'll fix it.
Alex: Fix it? How you gonna fix this?
Skipper: Grit, spit and a whole lotta duct tape.

It all feels like it's 2003 again. Everything is slow, and the entire Lounge is reloading when I click on another message.
I only have a signature in order to let @DalekDave follow my posts.

That's because of the slow loading of the page - you are clicking on the message before JavaScript are in place to handle them locally, so you are going to the server again...

Opened Skype tonight
Somebody sent me a few text lines, ("... Hello / How are you / Etc. ...")
All of a sudden skype disappeared.
A small icon appeared on the bottom bar of my (Win'7) screen
There was some sort of message about an update to make it better.
Following this, I was unable to use Skype until I provided a birthdate; including day, month, and year.
I do not remember skype ever acting this way before.

Depending on what elephanted M$ date format they use, try something like 1899-12-31.
(Thought about a joke icon, then decided not.)

Looks like we share the same birthday.

I once HAD to enter a phone number on one of their websites...
The format was so foreign to me that it only took like 10 tries
How many date format are there...? Knowing M$ they'll probably use yy/dddd(in Sanskrit)-MM or some such. Good luck!

What's the problem? Everyone, it seems, knows my cyber birthday - it sure as hell isn't my real one. One day every year I get tons of spam wishing me many happy returns but aside from that it doesn't really impact my life.
