Quote: no issue in the last 20 years
And yes, others do - and have done it - better. There is always a risk with data hosted in the web. But what Yahoo did (or better not did to secure the data) was grossly negligent.

OK, I meant that *I* had no issue with Yahoo for the usage I made of it, but sure, Yahoo did some wild things and there were probably some other nasty bugs throughout the last 20 years. TBH, I am using Outlook more today than directly the Yahoo client, but I have the Yahoo app on mobile.

I use Yahoo mail because I've had my account since 2001 and I have so many things tied to it, changing would be a major hassle. (I'll probably switch to my outlook.com account when I get sufficiently annoyed at Yahoo mail changes.)

Yahoo.
Yahoo.
I remember them ... just. Didn't they die in the 00's?

Only You could get us into this kind of Situation!
I'm pretty sure I would not like to live in a world in which I would never be offended.
I am absolutely certain I don't want to live in a world in which you would never be offended.

I simply switched back to classic - the option is there, somewhere.
They asked for a comment. I told them I'm there to read my mail, not be entertained by the interface.
As for many others' comments: anything's preferable to gmail.

I used Yahoo Mail for 19 years. I grew tired of all the pointless and obnoxious "features" they kept tacking on. And every time I'd get accustomed to the UI, they changed it. I recently downloaded Thunderbird and switched to Gandi mail. Not perfect by any means, but I like it better than Yahoo. Haven't yet made up my mind about Thunderbird. It's good but not great.
AdBlock+ cleans up the Yahoo UI rather nicely but that was only a partial solution.

OMG I am rushed off my feet today, so apologies in advance if I'm late replying to anything. I think this is easy anyway:

Tracey Emin Sydney city art bronze bird sculptures Heart of Distance[^]
Quote: The artist's work is default raw and emotional.
It looks like the crap I made out of plasticine in 1973 when back in pre-school. Luckily everything in Sydney and Australia is perfect and paid off so we can send boat loads of money to some poor depressed talentless Pom.

Talentless, pretentious twaddle, the lot of it.

You (all) are making the mistake of shooting at the wrong target. Tracey Emin is doing very well - rich and famous - and is free to produce what she wants. It's the people who buy into this stuff who give it its value, and who deserve the scorn.

No, I think that the producer and consumer deserve equal scorn!

Talentless twat.

Hence my sarcasm as to us having paid all important things off and the place being perfect so we can waste money like in this instance.

So true. I recall a few years ago the Turner prize went to someone who placed two small pieces of wood at right angles.

That money includes binoculars to each and every citizen - too see the birds on the first place...
My kids also 'put' some birds on my roof - it cost me a handful of breadcrumb each day... probably of few hundred dollars until the end of my days...
