I have collected a few books over the years specifically with crock pot recipes, but I find the best way is to decide what you want to eat first, and then Google that meal with 'in crock pot' after it. A quick reading of the recipe will soon indicate whether or not it is a good approach.

How should I address a woman in a business letter / mail:
Mrs or Ms?
[Edit]
And of course in Business relation, I don't know whether she is married or not (and what other light or dark things she is doing)
[Edit]
[Edit1]
This is no joke question!

Btw. For this, Wiki is something too much theoretical. I like to have pragmatic solution from real people here

In that case write nothing and start kissing the boots.
I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats.
His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

And what in case the DominMatrix is not invertable, has a determinant of zero?

These days the rules are more fluid. It can depend on whether you know the person, even if you do not know their marital status. Is it someone you work with, would like to work with, or someone outside of work (e.g. bank manager, lawyer, etc.)?

Thank you for this, at least one Person who try to help seriously. But what now? Mrs or Ms for a formal letter / mail?

Like I said, it depends on who this person is, and your relationship to her. But I think you should be safe with "Ms".

Thank you very much for clarification.
Until now, I used always "Mrs". I hope I did not hurt her with this.
Thanks again.

I think most people are happy if you start with a formal address, even if it is not their preferred choice. I guess you have the same issue in German with Frau and Fraulein (apologies for the missing umlaut(s)).
|
|
|
|

In German I'm safe (more or less), it will be always "Frau", independed of her status (married or not, what else). "Fräulein" (usually used in past for not married woman) disapeared since at least two decades and is now not very welcome by the young ladies (Fräuleins )
BTW: You are a great help to get me more familar with english

I am a native English speaker. I also speak fluent Spanish and OK French. I'm trying to start Nepali, since my son-in-law is from Nepal. I studied Russian for a year, but don't speak it.
English is a horrible language. There are so many exceptions and the way it is spelled will drive a Zen master insane.
Change of subject. I speak fluent Spanish, but I can't imagine taking a university course in Spanish. I greatly admire any non native English speaker taking English College courses. They are amazing.

This is correct, as I was taught in far too many English Composition courses over the eons. Alternatively, you can skip the salutation entirely and instead simply state her full name, e.g. "Dear Susan Jones." These days you'll find more and more official correspondence (bills, etc.) use this approach.

It's a little complicated, but...
If you don't know and she hasn't told you, then I'd start with Ms unless she comments, or says "call me Sue". It's a "marital status neutral" term like Mr, so it's less likely to give any offence.
Bad command or file name. Bad, bad command! Sit! Stay! Staaaay...
