Weird. I believe we use the Microsoft one and it runs post build. Never had a problem with it and have been using it for 8 years.

What is the actual size being transmitted?
Since web traffic is / can be compressed by default, is it worth doing "minify" explicitly? (i.e. is it redundant when considering compression).

Zipping the raw js vs. the minified js resulted in 17K and 9K respectively, so even if the web traffic is compressed, it's still ~50% reduction. At least, in my one little test!

i've used this no-name compressor: JSCompressor[^]. i think it's pretty old and i don't have complex js. i don't know how it will work with modern/latest js.

Tomorrow is a public holiday in the UK, as is Monday. I suspect it's the same in many European countries.
Should CCC OTD "play through", or be deferred until Tuesday as a result?
I don't mind either way, but I'll leave it up to you lot: whatever you decide in teh next four hours (just to give us a limit) I will go with.

You are probably not roman catholic. If you were, you probably would not have to ask. Just confess your sins and use the days for atonement.

Is that a "Gloria Patri, et filio, et spiritui sancto" or a "Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa" for a CCC tomorrow?

Even if it is a public holiday, on any holiday, I tend to check CP daily... even on the weekend. While I may not be able to solve the CCC, it is a fixture that others enjoy.
So... post it anyway; if no one gets it, repost it on Monday.
For me, tomorrow and Monday are work days; my next holiday is the end of May.

Who cares about that - just so long as "Thought of the Day" is not omitted.
Else, truly, you would be living in sin. Dark. All Consuming. Pestilent.

I guess "fleecy" was implicit. A land where bad boys grow into baaah'd men, then?

Not so much so in the US.

Even Rome has nothing against steaks as long as we do that only on the first friday (== today) this week.
