And PM is the Prime Minister ?
I was just curious, I haven't done much with REST API's so far as I'm not really involved in the Web development part at the company where I work.
For fun I experimented with PostgREST which offers an easy way to turn any PostgreSQL database into a REST API.
Works like a charm !

I went to a car show in Victoria, TX today, and some black dude in a Buick le Sabre drove through the venue, ran over and killed one of the staff, and wrecked two of the cars at the show In the process of trying to get away.

I just looked that up. Holy crap, that's awful.

Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Direct Darwin is just fine by me.
But I don't like Darwin by proxy.

Thanks for the tip, we have the first edition at the office I believe
And you will have to convince your current employer that .NET technology is superior

I am using Python in my work. Python is very slow and we cannot use multithreading to speed up the work due to global interpreter lock[^]. IronPython and Jython has no such problem.

VB6 was so bad, people have been leaving the planet just to get away from it.

I dunno about the book..
But reading the summary is making me investigate System.Numerics.Vectors.
Now I am left wondering if I should rewrite the library I am working on with Vector2 and Matrix3x2 from SNV DLLs. Though the problem is.. missing some operations there...

I've spent most of this morning scanning, checking, and generally trying to work out what's up with my PC - It suddenly when into SHIFT mode, so I couldn't access any lower case characters or numbers once I'd pressed SHIFT once and nothing would unSHIFT it. "Pile of SHIFT", I thought. So, check Sticky Keys - nope. Turn on Sticky Keys. Same thing. Turn off Sticky Keys again. No change. Reboot, power cycle, scan my whole PC for malware and viruses ... nothing.
Finally, reboot to PE from USB for a restore from my last backup. And ... it's the same there.
Odd. Not malware then.
Try my old (as in bought-in-the-nineties-really-cheap for a DX/4 I built) keyboard. Dead as a dodo.
Steal keyboard from Herself's computer. Works fine, provided I unplug my one.
Plug my KB into WookieTab. Same problem.
Weird hardware error on keyboard - once you press either SHIFT, it doesn't notice the release.
Gah! New keyboard time (BWA! I liked that one ...)

No wonder your keyboard gave up after all that hammering

Well, I just picked up the new one, and - apart from feeling "weird" because it's new and Microsoft instead of Logitech - it weems to work OK. Feel isn't too bad, but no dedicated "Zoom" keys may be a pain. Ho hum. At least I don't have to SHOUT all the time any more...

It seems to me that new keyboards get worse year after year. Same with mice.
My recommendation: If you find a keyboard you feel is vastly superior to everything else, then immediately get 3 more of them as future replacements. I wish I would've done that with my mouse (the original, plain, simple, 2-button USB MS optical mouse). They're nowhere to be found nowadays, except from the hoarders reselling them on Amazon for $250.
My last one is acting up, and I'm struggling to find a good replacement.

I wish I'd done that with my mouse as well - a Logitech Trackman Wheel - it's buttons have stopped a couple of times, but I took it apart and replaced the duff microswitches. You'll almost certainly find that yours is equally fixable if you are / know a competent PTH solderer, and most of the bits are available on FleaBay, they aren't complicated devices!
But my keyboard? Given the problem is with both shift keys it seems to be internal to the IC, and that's a microcontroller, so I'm elephanted....
