However he made a critical mistake.
Visual Studio is the wrong choice in this case.
He should've offered:
1) Download Python | Python.org[^]
2) Press F12 (open dev tools) for JavaScript -- Probably Download | Node.js[^] since the OP wanted a "programming software" for download.
3) PHP: Downloads[^] - if the OP wanted a web "programming software"
And we all know Python is the correct choice here.

He'd be better off with this: Python[^]

I need a shooting gun. I want to order this gun. Where I will get this gun?
Just asking, since you obviously have crossed the line to lawful evil now.
I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats.
His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

Hah! My elder brother was a vicar, and I used to leave messages on his answer phone saying "Hi God botherer! It's the Antichrist here - get your people to ring my people" - until his bishop heard one, anyway...

What happened a yes-talk or an exchange of opinions?

It probably didn't help his case when he was defrocked (for other reasons, but the Antichrist bit wasn't appreciated much apparently).

Ok, then it was an exchange of opinions. He went in with his own and came out with the bishop's.

Shouldn't this be in the Q&A section?

How can I learn mobile development?

You'll have to give us more information in order for us to help you. Do you already know how to program (if so, in what language(s)) or have you never programmed before?

To be honest, given your other question, I'd strongly suggest that you leave mobile development on the shelf for a while and start by learning to develop software for a sightly more friendly environment first: it's a lot easier to get the basics sorted and learn how to design and develop code generally before you start moving to mobile apps, which are a lot more complex to get going with.
Start with C# on Windows, and get that right, then look at Xamarin for mobile development and you can leverage what you have learnt into the new environment.

You guys don't appreciate the importance of the eternal question: What is mobile development? Who am I? Where did we come from? Where is the future heading? No easy answers.

You have to follow step by step.
The first step is to tell yourself that you love programming.
The second step, you tell yourself that coding is what you are dreaming of.
The next step you will need to become Google expert.
There, step-by-step.
