We may but we should blacklist CP, as it's a good way to get the site out of any Ad circuit

That would give the bots an easy way to determine whether or not they'd solved the CAPTCHA.
The general rule of thumb is that you always display a "message sent" message, even if the user doesn't exist. Otherwise, you leave yourself open to account enumeration.

As if I could not enumerate enough user names by simply scraping the right web pages, like this one: https://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/Profiles.aspx.
I worked for a company that specialized in document archives. They had code that quickly and reliably found anything you were interested in in any formatted document. In this case it would be the account names and I would get myself that list before ever trying to hack the password reset.

Not quite. Mine is located more at the back of the head, somewhere where relevant and irrelevant visual information is plucked apart.

And then I saw it: There is one of those captcha thingies! Reminds me of an older system we've got here. If you click forgot password, there is a quick 'processing' overlay which appears and vanishes as if something happened but no email gets sent! The trick is to type your login name into the field and THEN click the forgot password link. Once you do that, the system sends an email to whatever address it has on file for the provided username.
Reported it as a bug the first time I used it, only to be told working as intended and was provided instructions for making it work.

I'll add this to the list, but please understand that chasing all the bugs caused by add-ins that block our means of paying for this awesomely massive free service isn't going to be our highest priority.

The problem is that the 'add-in' is a well trained sense of ignoring everything that does stick out of the site's design and is placed distractingly in the way. It works so well that it took me a few times to even take a closer look at it, read a single word of the text or finally realize what it was.

Don't have one, hence the question mark.
I've got MADE for CREATED, and DREAMCATCHER for WEB CHARM, but RCATCHER for PROTECTIVE eludes me.

You do realize, the world is not going to hear the end of this until they get kicked out of the next world cup...

I think we all misunderstood you guys. When you say it is coming home, it refers to an empty handed football team, right?
