The idea is to a make a simple starter project that fits many use cases. I encourage you to check out the GitHub repository. Speed Test - TestMySpeed[^]
I plan on actively maintaining the project and frequently adding features. If you have any suggestions feel free to drop me a line. Scrabble Word Finder[^]

You are asking for who knows what with a copy poaste of some assignment. You did not even care enough to ask what you want, let alone post it in the right place.
This reply is hard to write because I have to filter out 90% of what I'd write for the sake of politeness.

Only 90%? You're a lot more restrained than I am!

I think it's the wrong place, and probably the wrong time.
When you have the github project up and to the point where it is useful to people, write an article about it (Submit a new Article[^]) and tell everybody what it provides, and how it will make their lives easier. Explain how it is better for them than creating a bare minimum project each time for themselves. Basically, sell it to them / us.
But at the moment all I see is "I created 'hello world' in Flask, help yourself. Oh, and if I remember I'll improve it later" which is of little or no use to anyone. By all means change my mind - but just posting this here is an invitation to impolite replies.

What do you mean by this? Care to explain?
Member 14221451 wrote: I encourage you to check out the GitHub repository.
What makes you think it is worth my (on anybody else's) time?
If you want people to make any effort at all, you need to convince them that you have put in some effort yourself. Copy pasting (or not formatting the post well) is not the right first step.
Even after you have done all that, you must understand that it depends on the individual whether to respond. You are not entitled to anything.

Funnily enough, I am actively investigating solutions for a web server on a current project we're developing. Of the dozen or so examples I have found, while none answers all the problems I have to address, this is unique.
It is unique in that it completely and utterly fails to help in any way whatsoever.
You could take that as a matter of pride, a compliment even, or as indicative of the lack of quality therein.

I think you should learn how to post on codeproject without everythign ending up in a f*ckin PRE block.

Generic solutions is what I do.
I may, when allowed, publish them here on Code Project - but adding to someone else's (I-Don't-Know-What) is a non-starter.

... but is this way[^] of asking questions some cultural thing in Asia ?
Are the people really so stressed out ? When you buy something in a store in Asia, do you really go like "URGENNTTT ! PLEASE PUT FOOD IN BAG QUICK !" ? Plus this has been around for years now, did not anyone learn anything about net-etiquette on (for them)foreign language forums ? Why keep insisting, knowing that it is the wrong way to behave ??

The youth is always two things: Young, and stupid.
Some are stupid in the words meaning, and for some you may be able to set that into quotation marks - But they are, whether they want to or not.

Because throughout their lives SHOUTING and yelling has worked with Mummy. SHOUT enough, she cooks your food. Sulk enough, she washes your socks. Be rude enough, she buys you an iPhone.
Then they get to the internet where there is no responsibility for your actions and continue the process. If it works, why change it?
Not just Asians, either ... European and USean teens are as bad.

Indeed!
And on the subject of appalling netiquette, what about "tyvm?"

Yes, in some ways that's even more annoying, not only can they not be bothered to type it, they can't be bothered to spell it and they're only saving 3 keystrokes in the process.

No.
Rage wrote: Are the people really so stressed out ?
Probably yes, I have no doubt in my mind that these are the people who somehow got the job (yes, these are mostly professionals as I have met a few in person ) and do not have the slightest idea as to how to actually do it.
So the fear of letting the secret out is quite unnerving.

Simply put, why work on something that is not absolutely neccessary.

statement doesn't make sense. You are assuming that all are repeat offenders.
Its quite simple, OP1 who is new comes and post like this, then he is advised how to ask questions. He moves on.
Then after a week, another OP2 comes and does the same mistake and so on..
So it looks like that nobody is learning. but fact is that its 10 person doing the same mistake rather then one person doing 10 times.
cheers,
Super
