We had a largish duck which was fine for the four of us. Leftovers went into a soup that was finished today.
In Hungariaorszag, turkey is eaten year round and is the turn to cheap meat; more so than chicken.

In the US, Thanksgiving is the traditional day to eat turkey and feast. We now use thanksgiving to give thanks for lots of food and lots of football.

So the office cleaning lady asked me if I wanted to smoke a joint with her! I had to decline.

I, for one, like Roman Numerals.

that's so typical of you: high ranking people treating service workers as unworthy of even light conversation.
(OIOW they're people too... why not share your smoke with her? )

PARTY?
I'm not convinced, the "PARSED" ... "PART" correspondence is very weak so I'm probably wrong.

I don't know if I will miss him, as I felt he was a mean person at his core. His behavior was rooted in meanness and not entertainment. This is why he was finally fired for the last time, and no one would really hire him again. Who wants to work with such negativity.
With that said, he was a radio host icon, and will go down as one of the greats, for good or bad.

What do you mean? He worked at WABC 770 AM until he retired in March 2018.

Imus was an a**hole and was fired many times in his life for being an a**hole.

He did not retire on his own accord. The company went through a bankruptcy and stopped paying him.

Guys, Let us not forget the hundreds of thousands of dollars (maybe millions) Imus spent on kids with cancer at his ranch during the holidays, trying to lift them out of feelings of hopelessness and get them to understand that they still had a purpose in life. He was not all evil, was he?

Like I have a choice of not not following any religion other person also have all the right to follow what they think is correct for them. For most it is not a choice; if someone practices Wicca personally and does not bother others, I not object. But teach children something that is irrational, mentally damaging them, that is something I cannot accept.
There's a difference between attacking people and attacking their delusions. I do not hurt anyone, and call not to a Jihad or Holy War against the infidels; only against their set of outdated beliefs. It is time we put a stop against the murdering in the name of some God.

I am, and nothing prevents me from doing so. I will risk my account to say what must be said, and if Chris suspends my account to prevent the weak of mind to flee from here, I understand. As for the religious; it is Gods' will that I penned it, so they have (by their own decree) no right to challenge my opinion.
Abandon the sickness called religion and step into rationality.
And no, I have no choice; there is no way I can accept the mutilation of children in Gods' name. There's only a moral obligation to stop the insanity. If you want "good", then there is no alternative. The only good is knowledge, and the only evil is ignorance.
