also check in the Task Scheduler,
there's usually 2 - 3 entries for chrome - set to auto restart if it detects they exit.
including one that checks for updates every 10 minutes (something stupid like that) as well as at user login and possibly machine start too.
(...and when chrome starts guess what's the first thing it does?)
- sure "safety" but that's just paranoid, and that's from the people that wrote it!

...when I want to just become a monk.
Dealing with an elephant SP. Debugger in SSMS doesn't work. The whole logic of the SP should be in the DSM 5[^] as a definition of insantity.

Nah, but you were the one complaining it didn't work the first time.
Well, now you've got the knowledge. Use it as you please!

Yeah, I've walked in to more than one place where the had their sprocs loaded with business logic (some > 2000 lines in a single SP). This always made me cringe.

I don't think it has ever worked, I know I have never used it and I used to love SPs, printed variables have always been my debug tool in SSMS.

Amazingly, Visual Studio (I'm using 2017, I've heard complaints that it doesn't work on 2019) was able to debug the SP. Yay, found the issue in 60 seconds.

Yup, and this is a local instance of SQL Express, so theoretically, no firewall should be involved, or so I would think.

Stranger things have happened.
I'm not sure how well the Sql server team cooperates with the Os team.
They also seem to have a lot of technical debt.

No, but they won't follow you either.
Such is social media - a circle of people following other people, spinning rapidly but getting nowhere, and no one is actually leading.
