Not the first time I see a company steping back in the last second and not the first time a final offer was still a bad offer.

Lucky you; I travelled up and down the Pacific coast quite a few times in the early '60s. And I thought Seattle one of the nicest parts of the world. Only slightly eclipsed by Vancouver, BC (the extra attraction of a pretty girl).

If COVID-19 and your president continue as they are in NY, then it's going to have a pretty small population soon ... :GloomyPrognosisSmiley:

So you don't have a president where you live?
The Scandinavian countries and GB still have kings, and a few more, mostly outside the Western countries.
But I must admit: I had to look up the name of your president. And honestly, the name didn't ring that many bells. I hope that you do not have to look it up, though.

In Germany only president.
But, if you see the "subthread":
- I asked if New York is for him a little city
- He answered that if it virus and my president continue like that it will
- I think he confused me with the OP, so I make the joke of giving coffee and asking "since when am I a US-Citizen?" because I am not and he knows it (or I thought he knew), and nothing that my president (spanish or german) does will have that big effect in the end size of new york.

I just wanted to point out that you both made the same mistake:
He assumed you were American
You assumed that he by "president" assumed the US president.
I am quite sure that he did, but he didn't say so, and you were jut as preconcieved about the nationality of the president as he was about the nationality of Nelek.
