I know!
The way Bolsonaro's trying to get the entire population of Brazil killed, I'm going to end up going absolutely bleeding bonkers on withdrawal symptoms from lack of coffee!

Ah.
Now, I'm not into panic buying, but ... just before coronavirus escaped from WuHan my local supermarket had a special on my favourite coffee, but in bean form, rather than my usual ready ground. Probably because it's unusual round here these days to grind your own, so it was way less than half the normal price. I bought a new electric grinder (I have a hand grinder but it's milling parts are worn and it takes a lot of effort to use) - and stocked up each time I went in. I think I got around 12lb or so before they ran out ... I'm fine for coffee for a couple of weeks ...

Psssst: Coffee I got plenty, all whole bean, all Pike's Place. All American Starbucks, not the knock-off junk coffee vendor scammers sell outside the USA! What are you willing to pay? I.O.W.: How much will the market bear?

Good thing you put the joke icon on the post.

I've been to the US. And while it certainly is more than possible to find good cup of coffee on your side of the pond, I would not consider it as a rule of thumb.

Dang. I really enjoyed that show when it was on here, and he was always such a good (mostly) straight man on it.

Yeah, this is starting to annoy me.
I grew up watching The Goodies. One of my favourite programmes when it was on BBC2. This one hurts.

Something political and bitchy going on there, methinks.

When I have seen clips in recent years it has seemed very dated. As it is the seventies there are also occasional instances of racial stereotyping which just make you cringe.
It goes without saying

Went to Keukenhof last year, what an amazing place. Tulips reminded me of the trip!

Sadly the Keukenhof remains closed this year, we could watch it on television however. Still a pity for all the work that a small army of gardeners put into it ...

Very sad a beautiful place. I can just imagine the amount of work that went into it.
