Looking forward to the first support ticket because there was spillage when wiping because someone had the runs.

NXP's MCUxpresso IDE works great when it doesn't randomly hang doing routine operations, or you don't need to get back to the start page which I have only figured out how to do by restarting the program.
I hope whoever develops Eclipse gets an appropriate serving of karma.
What a horrible piece of software. And all the software that's spun off of it is just as bad. Like MCUxpresso IDE.
It has never been stable for me. Either random crashes, hangs, incompatibilities with extensions (the least of its problems), and just being nasty to use in any and all forms. Curse Eclipse.

Well, Eclipse devs tried a lot. It is 100% saturated fat.

It's always amazed me how much people kvetch about Visual Studio, and then I read stories like this.

Visual Studio is way better. It works very well. However, it is heavyweight.

Went to print a few 6x4 (15x10 for the civilised) photos for herself.
Wasn't concentrating, loaded the glossy paper back to front in the inkjet printer.
What a mess! The reverse side of the paper obviously has zero ink absorption, or less.

Had a Samsung Laser printer for Years good colour & fast, then the trouble started lots of blinking lights, find hack on line using a 10K resistor, fixed for a while, repeat as needed. Then lights start again hack again lights blink differently look up error code, replace error code item(expensive) lights blink in a different order can't stop it. Need to print off buy another printer (Epson) put printer in to fix later pile (or mountain)

I once used some Photo paper in my Samsung laserprinter that turned out to be inkjet paper. Thought I could write off the laserprinter as the mess sticked to the drum, but to my surprise after a few prints on normal paper everything was fine again, phew!

Went to download the drivers for the new PA279CRV NO DRIVERS for Windows 7
I explained in chat what I would connect this new monitor to DUH
OK so I am running at 1920 by 1080 it works and color looks good I am in Native Mode
Feel like I am wasting my money ? Here is why
I had a PA248 not sure of the resolution that said Asus has a PA248QV max res 1920 by 1200 for $159.00
Asus PA248QV[^]
It supports Widows 7
Other issue is all my Desktop VS apps the DGV is chopping of content I can fix this
What features on the PA279CRV are not working because I am using the old drivers?
I don't mind the money but $419.00 vs $159.00 with none of the benefits from the new monitor
I really only care about a crisp clear screen
I have a Nvidia Quadro P400 only 2 Gig using HDMI
Send it Back and buy the PA248QV

It supports Widows 7 that's the problem it only supports widows, not Windows!

My Key Board has a software driver that starts to lag if you are not constantly typing
Kensington ONLY sells this model on Amazon through a 3rd party seller
You also need to scroll the mouse to wake it up
I have had 2 Key Board USB and mice from them before worked great long battery life
This new model claims longer batter life NOT SO every 6 mo new AAA Energizer Ultimate Lithium
I will tell my Widow number 7 you were thinking of here

NO I have no clue Just too use to Plug & Play
So I have a setting for Adobe RGB mode. Do I select that when editing Lightroom Photos ?
I did read the online manual it just says you have this and that not when to use the setting
I am not sure the 4K feature is needed for me
I must admit the colors are bright and the new 27 in screen
just makes moving the mouse around a little different or more work ha ha get my exercise.
I am setting to 1920 by 1200 and used 125% screen resolution settings. My VB.Net apps now display as written.
Need to learn how to code for other monitor formats.
Did a little more reading the Higher price is really bring me these display features that justify the price
Pixels Per Inch (PPI) : 163 vs 94 and Pixel Pitch : 0.155mm vs 0.270 cost difference $419.00 vs $249.00
Screen Size 27 " vs 24 " Contrast Ratio (Dynamic) : 3000:1 vs 1000:1
I guess you get what you pay for. I should not complain I paid $600.00 11 years ago for the Asus PA249
Thanks for the reply
