The norm is to use an insane amount of .js libraries to bootstrap front-end development, while simultaneously creating a nearly untestable attack-surface.
But why?
Profit margins.
Eventually, something build on top of WASM will position itself as easy _and_ secure, and .js can burn in a pit of snakes.

Yeah, a 13-year-old that feels qualified to comment would kinda tick me off...

If he's like most of us, he has a list of shortcuts to webpages he was going to come back and read later. With the lockdowns going on, he finally got to this particular link.
It was broke, so I fixed it.

That could well be it. I look forward to seeing where he goes next.

I saw Dark Side of the Moon (with laser show) and Wish You Were Here, which had barely been released at that point, live in 1975. The venue was an absolute zoo, which didn't please local residents and politicians.
They also played early versions of what evolved into some Animals pieces. Someone saw a pair of headphones lying around, picked them up and put them on, and overheard a conversation that went, "Don't worry about all the mistakes. No one has heard this music before." But the rest of it was excellent.
