FTFY.
Mere information is not knowledge. Knowledge is something more deep, a result of serious study.

I try to explain, in vain, that with knowledge of their own they'll have no way of knowing if whatever came up on Google is legitimate or not.
The current world-wide outbreak of stupidity underlines this position. Now, please excuse me whilst I go and attack a 5G tower to stop the spread of COVID-19 and surpress the alien take over.

Most of 'em fail even that test - they can't be bothered to google it when there are sites to do that for 'em.

I think an Auto Cut/Past AI App would really be popular, of course they would still have to do the googling.
I'm not sure how many cookies it makes to be happy, but so far it's not 27.

Their beliefs are encouraged. The TV's said "how computer savvy" they kids are; even my younger brother ( > 60 ) has touted that to me. I explain that it's the same fantastic technical literacy as turning on a television (but to no avail). Alcohol in his blood-surrogate ?
They think they're so wise in technology - in fact, the know they are so wise - because they tell each other so !

My son sleeps late these days (and no sleep during the day). So, keep telling him that he should sleep more/in time, it is good for health, develops brain, etc.
Yesterday, we were watching a series where teacher scolds a student for sleeping in the class. My son innocently asks something like: this
Innocence (he is just over 4 years)

I was known (and likely feared) for asking 'different' questions because I always interpreted things with a, er, slightly obtuse view

I like kid to be inquisitive ... why to block and direct his thoughts or suppress them. The more he thinks, more he will ask... believe that's best.

Don't ask me, ask my former Master Sergeant: "Don`t think, just do as I say! And now throw out the trash!"
Guess what flew out the window a second later. He almost had a stroke. By now he probably has drunk himself to death and is burried in a place I found in Skyrim, called Dimhollow Crypt.
I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats.
His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

That tells us more that maybe there are other things always at play then some old thought processes.

To be fair, my grades weren't high (but I still managed to get a Master's degree and no one asks about grades anyway), but when I switched to programming there was little sleeping and lots of studying

Your son is probably more intelligent than his teachers.
Personally, I could never sleep in school. The teachers spoke too loudly.

Didn't thought that really mattered. If someone wants, find the last bench and probably can sleep off

International Cat Day - Wikipedia[^]
So, if you have an International Cat, celebrate it!
Our's doesn't like to go international: it would take him far, far too long to scent mark every single damn thing he passed on the way ...
